CHARNSTROM MAIL CARTS
Charnstrom has designed and manufactured mail center furniture and
supplies for more than 40 years. You have probably received their catalog.
Mail carts have always been their specialty. Datamation Systems customers
enjoy a special discount off Charnstrom's catalog prices.
There are now four different sizes and 50 different styles. Small mail
carts for use in tight spaces or for quick deliveries and large carts that
will hold 300+ mail stops for the largest corporate and government
facilities. Because of there modular design different baskets and solid
metal tubs can be interchanged with different wheels and casters to create
the carts that are just right for your particular operation.
Over the years Charnstrom has designed carts for warehouse order picking
as well as outside operations in down town streets. Cart accessories
include locking tops for security, hanging baskets for extra capacity,
rubber bumpers to protect walls and desks from scratches and dents, and
much more.
Constructed in welded solid steel sheets or heavy gauge steel wire our
mail carts are designed for durability and longevity. The only time you
will need to buy another mail cart is when your mailing operation expands

Removable top mail baskets holds 150+ letter- or legal-size folders
and lower parcel baskets accommodate large packages. All baskets are
removable for sorting mail or empting parcels.
Front canvas caddy can hold office supplies for delivery. Large 4"
rubber bumpers protect walls and desks. Cushion handle grip give
more comfort and control to the mail cart. Air tires let this mail
cart roll easy on 10" rear tires and 8" front casters.

Extra Long Mail Carts are ideal for
handling large amounts of mail and managing those high volume
departments. The above is just an example of one type of

Specs for

Mail cart frame is 16 gauge 1” x 1 ½”
square steel tubing with solid welded ¼” rods for rigidity. Each
frame has 4 - heavy duty. 14 gauge. wrap around brackets for a
tight fit and the best connection to the round tubular handles.
Sturdy steel frames for lasting durability even when fully
loaded over rough and uneven terrain.

Six 8" air tires for going over rough surfaces and more
maneuverability. This extra long mail cart can spin around
corners and desks. Bottom shelf has 5" lip on one side and 1"H
lip on other for easy package access
Specifications: Top file box is 18 gauge steel with extra
bends for rigidity. File rails are wrapped with stainless
steel for the smoothest operation for sliding file folders
open. Triple welded for extra strength.
End panels are 18 and 20 gauge steel riveted together for
strength and the executive two tone look. Handle is round to
fit your hands and is nickel chrome plated for the most
durable finish.
Lower package tray is 18 gauge steel and is hemmed for
strength and to make sure there are no sharp edges. Easy
