Trax systems mount in front of rear cabinet rows, so an aisle way

DURING INSTALLATION
With Trax, a heavy duty rail assembly is placed on the floor 1-1/2”
in front of cabinets already installed. Existing file cabinets and
folders remain undisturbed, and this minimizes disruption to your
office on installation day. And, our rail assembly can be placed
directly on your carpeting without causing any damage.
3. STRONG ALUMINUM
CARRIAGE
The carriage is made of heavy gauge aluminum extrusions,
welded for a perfect appearance. These aluminum structures
absorb the shock as the filing cabinets reach the rubber end
stops.
Do not confuse Jeter aluminum frame with its lesser stamped
steel competitors. Aluminum is 10 times stronger by weight
than steel.
The welded carriage frame includes an L-shaped containment
for the cabinets. They nest within the frame and are
attached to the carriage with special alloy screws.
The carriage is equipped with four hardened steel wheels of
3-3/4”. The front wheels are flanged to guide on the front
rail, and the rear wheels are flat to roll along the rear
rail. Each wheel is equipped with dual factory sealed ball
bearings for easy movement, and each bearing is rated to
provide for weight loads of 1,325 pounds. The result: no
bearing failures, no service calls. |

4. SOPHISTICATED SAFETY SYSTEMS
 |
All Trax systems come standard
with an anti-derailment device and our patented top anti-tip
device. These parts prevent the cabinets from ever derailing
or tipping forward into an occupied aisle.

The anti-derailment device is
located at the lip of each carriage. There are two L-shaped
hooks that connect into the floor rail Section and prevent
the carriage from ever rolling off its tracks. |

The unique top anti-tip device
prevents the front cabinets from tipping by connecting the
front rolling cabinets to a rail section attached to the top
of the rear cabinets. This device actually compensates for
the irregularities of most office floors. The rear row of
cabinets follow the contour of the floor, hut the front rail
sections are leveled perfectly so the cabinets do not roll
or drift once pushed to a certain position. The anti-tip
device changes elevations as it moves up and down in
relationship to the rear cabinets. No other system comes
close to having such a positive anti—tip safety system.

5. WHEELS ROLL SMOOTHLY
Each floor section joins together with steel alignment pins to
produce a continuous weight
supporting rail surface for the carriages. The wheels roll smoothly
from one rail section to
the next. The rails will not flex, nor will carriages ever drift,
regardless of the weights
involved.
6. HEAVY DUTY DECK
Each system comes with a ¾” plywood deck that is rail supported. The
deck assembly is
leveled on top of existing flooring material, and plastic leveling
feet allow installation on top
of carpet. Heavy 3/8” steel plates are placed every 12” to support
the rails for a perfectly

experience with Jeter mobile systems.
7. LOW PROFILE RAIL DESIGN AND
RECESSED RUBBER BUMPER
We install a recessed rubber bumper of the same low profile as the
rail. The sloped front edge
and recessed design eliminate tripping hazards. We use a light gray
foam material that
compresses and maintains closure as the system is adjusted against
the floor. This prevents
debris, such as paper clips, from gathering underneath the system.
