The Mail Center of the Future will have to have many safeguards in place to address potential terrorist threats and/or service interruptions resulting from natural disasters.  In today's complex world, we only need to look back a few years to the anxiety and service disruptions caused by those anthrax mailings.  In addition, Katrina was an unfortunate reminder on what could happen when we don't prepare for such events.
