Inbound mail sorting system
The Tritek inbound mail sorter is designed to sort all types of incoming street mail: letters, flats, newspapers and magazines. This technology reads all types of printed or handwritten mail in any orientation! The machine also has a unique two-sided reader for reading addresses on the front or back side of the mail piece. (Imagine the time savings this capability offers!)
The sorter can also be used to deliver company mail via e-mail and remote video encoding. The Tritek inbound sorter interfaces to a company’s employee data base for instant look-up information. Tritek also has developed an operator data base for special needs, allowing the system to identify employees no longer with the company or generically- addressed mail pieces (for example, phone bills, statements or junk mail).
Tritek sorting machine transport:
The patented Tritek inbound mail sorter has a through-put of up to 12,000 mail pieces per hour for OCR reading, reading the name, department, floor building and location. Processed mail is sorted for carrier delivery route.
The double sided transport design allows a small foot print size. Each eight bin sorting module is 3 feet wide by 6 feet long. This optimizes space, especially in tight office facilities.
In the right application, the use of an automated system can save space over manually sorting operations.
