Outbound automated sorting, printing and weighing
The Tritek scale machine uses a high speed, patented method of weighing flat and letter mail items. The machine reads the address block and indicia in any orientation and applies a delivery point USPS-certified postnet barcode for maximum postal discounts. The mail is weighed, labeled and manifested through Tritek’s custom-designed USPS-approved manifesting software. The posted flats are then sorted using Tritek’s patented drop-box sorting transport. This machine is shown at a DHL processing facility.

Another Tritek letter sorting machine has a throughput speed of more than 30,000 letters per hour. The OCR read area is 5” x 12” and has the ability to read all types of printed mail. You can also add handwriting recognition. The sorter accommodates an inkjet printer and uses a vacuum feeder to singulate each mail piece. The machine shown processes outgoing mail for the State of Florida.
