This powerful, compact and portable machine can be used to locate and read any type of document. It can even process letter and flat mail. Documents are placed laying flat at the feeder with the printed area facing up to the camera.
Documents are singulated (can be intermixed in thicknesses) traveling automatically downstream past the scan area. The machine then performs an operator selected image capture software program.
Character recognition or data storage to file management are easily obtained. The images are processed by real time character recognition. The Tritek Nomad 2 reads 8.5” x 11” inch or legal size documents at a rate of more than three per second.
Smaller items such as credit card receipts, bank checks or oversized and irregular shaped items such as boxes can also be scanned with high resolution, 400 dpi duplex imaging, creating TIF, JPEG or PDF images in black and white or color. These images can be retrieved with Tritek’s Doc-U-Search document manager or any number of off-the-shelf software packages.
A foot pedal control allows hands-free operation. A removable color digital camera for large object imaging is featured; voice memo is also available.
