Vertical Mailboxes

Made entirely of aluminum, Salsbury 3500 series USPS approved vertical mailboxes are available in surface or recess mounted units. Mailboxes feature a durable powder-coated aluminum or brass finish and 5-1/2”w x 16-1/4”H extruded aluminum doors. Each door includes a five pin cylinder cam lock with two keys and a 2 ½”w x 5/8 indentation to accommodate a label. Mailboxes are available in units with three to seven compartments. Each compartment is 6- Ύ”d.

 

 

 
HORIZONTAL MAILBOXES

FRONT OR REAR LOADING
HORIZONTAL MAILBOXES

Made entirely of aluminum, 3600 series USPS approved horizontal mailboxes are available in units with standard “A” size doors and larger “B” size doors. Units with standard “A” size doors are available 3", 4" or 5" wide and 5", 6”, 7" high. Units with larger “B” size doors are available 2" wide and 5", 6", 7" high. Each anodized aluminum door includes a five (5) pin cylinder cam lock with two (2) keys 4” and a 2” W x 5/8” H clear plastic card holder (card included) to identify the tenant’s name and/or box number. Custom engraved placards (#3667) are available as an option upon request. The 16-1/2” D compartments are made of sheet aluminum.

If Front Loading:
Door panel swings on a continuous hinge. One mailbox opening is required for a master postal or commercial lock and cannot be used for mail distribution; however the opening is readily convertible to receive outgoing letters through a mail slot. Units include factory installed 1-3/4” W x Ό” D trim and a removable rear cover.

If Rear Loading:
Mailboxes can be used for either USPS access (master postal lock not required) or private access (master commercial lock not required). All openings are usable. Units include a removable aluminum rear cover. Brushed aluminum 1-3/4” W x Ό” snap-on peripheral trim (#3613) is available as an option upon request.
